Montserrat Coronado graduated with an Associate of Science degree in marketing in Spring 2026. A Tennessee Promise student, Coronado was a member of the President’s Leadership Society and Phi Theta Kappa honor society. Following graduation, she plans to transfer to Middle Tennessee State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Coronado says that her involvement in leadership programs and campus activities helped shape her college experience by building confidence and creating meaningful connections.

“I believe what had the biggest impact on me during my time at Columbia State was the opportunities to get involved outside the classroom, especially through programs like PLS and campus events,” Coronado said. “Those experiences helped me build confidence, develop leadership skills and connect with other students.”
