    Pryor Art Gallery Hosts Symbols and Visions Exhibit

    Columbia State Community College’s Pryor Art Gallery will host “Symbols and Visions” Jan. 10 – Feb. 21. The exhibit will feature monumental (large-scale) oil paintings by artist Greg Decker.

    Decker, a professional painter of 35 years, lives in rural Tennessee and teaches oil painting classes in Nashville as well as in traveling classrooms in the Mediterranean region. He has taught as a visual teaching artist in New York City with the Museum of Modern Art, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

    Upcoming Exhibits

    Pryor Art Gallery is in its second decade of offering multi-disciplinary and interactive exhibits curated for the interests of wide audiences. Upcoming exhibits will include NASA’s 50th Anniversary of the Lunar Walk with Oculus Rift” which will included VR technology, art, music, guest speakers and hands-on science activities. The American Watercolor Society will return with the National 2019 Juried Exhibit and much more.

Pryor Art Gallery

The purpose and mission of Pryor Gallery is to present exhibits and programs that inspire, educate, enlighten, challenge and entertain Columbia State Community College students, faculty/staff and community members of Middle Tennessee.

The gallery is a first-class artistic venue where appreciation for all forms of visual art is embraced. It is open to the public and free of charge. All are welcome!
