Columbia State Offers ACT Prep Courses

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Feb. 14, 2017) - - - Columbia State Community College's Office of Economic and Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course this spring for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required national college admissions exam this spring and summer.

Classes will meet one evening per week for five weeks. The course is fast-paced and covers the five areas of the ACT test: English, math, reading, science and writing. In addition, students will learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. Fees are $140 per person, and each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.

The prep course will take place at the following locations:

Maury County

  • Columbia State's Columbia CampusFeb. 23 - March 236 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Columbia State's Columbia CampusApril 27 - May 256 - 8:30 p.m.

Williamson County

  • Columbia State's Williamson CampusFeb. 14 - March 145:30 - 8 p.m.
  • Columbia State's Williamson CampusApril 18 - May 165:30 - 8 p.m.

Lawrence County

  • Columbia State's Lawrence Campus Feb. 18 - March 189 - 11:30 a.m.
Marshall County
  • Columbia State's Lewisburg Campus Feb. 23 - March 305:30 - 8 p.m.
