Columbia State Welcomes New Lawrence Campus Site Coordinator

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - August 1, 2016) - - - Columbia State welcomes Matt McLean as the new site coordinator at the Lawrence Campus.

"I am so thrilled to be working with Matt," said Cissy Holt, dean of regional services and southern campuses. "I know that students and community members alike will welcome Matt as the face of Columbia State in Lawrence County."

McLean brings a wealth of knowledge to the position with his previous role as director of the Humboldt Higher Education Center with Jackson State Community College.

"It's an honor and privilege to work at Columbia State," McLean said. "I look forward to many years of service with Columbia State and the surrounding communities."

McLean will be responsible for planning and delivery of student services, managing daily operations and working with businesses for training needs for the Lawrence Campus.

McLean earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and health from Union University and master's degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Martin.

McLean, a Lexington, Kentucky native, currently lives in Lawrenceburg with his wife Amy and daughter Emma.
