Columbia State Announces New Lewisburg Campus Site Coordinator
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - August 1, 2016) - - - Columbia State is pleased to announce Matt Lewis as the new site coordinator at the Lewisburg Campus.
"Matt will bring a wealth of experience and energy to the Lewisburg Campus and the Marshall County community," said Cissy Holt, dean of regional services and southern campuses. "I know that students and community members alike will welcome Matt as the face of Columbia State in Marshall County."
Lewis will be responsible for planning and delivery of student services for the Lewisburg Campus.
"I look forward to this new position," Lewis said. "People are a priority to me. I believe in helping students find their vocation, not just an occupation."
As a Lewisburg native and an alumnus of Columbia State, Lewis understands the community and has a passion for strengthening the community's relationship with the college.
Lewis earned his associate degree in mass communication from Columbia State, along with a bachelor's in professional studies and master's in education from Middle Tennessee State University.
Lewis began his employment in 2001 at Columbia State at the Lewisburg Campus as a part-time evening administrative assistant and in 2007 moved to the Columbia Campus as the assistant director of admissions in the enrollment services department. Most recently, Lewis served as the enrollment services operations manager.
Lewis currently resides in Lewisburg with his wife and four children.
