Columbia State Welcomes New Veterans Success Coach

Columbia State Community College welcomes Daniala Gardner as the new Veterans Success Coach. This grand funded position will be directly responsible for providing transition support to student veterans at Columbia State.

Gardner will serve as an advocate for student veterans and as a liaison between the students and other student support offices and services. Her office will be located at the Columbia Campus; however, she will travel to each of the five campuses and provide support to our nine-county service area.

Gardner brings several years of experience in training and teaching, including Gonzales Consulting Service, West Deptford Board of Education, South Central Human Resource Agency, and the United States Navy.

Gardner holds an associate degree in education from Gloucester County College, Sewell, New Jersey; a bachelor's degree in history/sociology from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey; and a master's degree in instructional design technology from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
