Massa Earns Clifton Leadership Award
May 2009 Graduate Amber Massa Honored
The Clifton Campus of Columbia State honored student Amber Massa, a May 2009 Associate of Science degree graduate, with the Leadership Award.
"Amber is a truly unique student," said Clifton Campus Director Stephen Milligan. "As a mother, she coaches her daughter Kyndell's ball team and is often seen with her in our halls as she works on some of our fundraising projects. She loves animals and owns a variety of them including horses. She and her family often participate in trail rides that raise funds for good causes. Her innovative ideas and outstanding work ethic during our bake sales, golf tournament, spaghetti dinner, and many other events throughout the year led to the biggest student contribution to the Clifton Campus Scholarship fund. Amber can always be counted on to be a friend or take a situation by the reins and guide it to success. Her presence at this campus has enriched student life."
