DELGADO SIGNS WITH MTSU FOR FALL 2013 SEASON

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Nov. 16, 2012) - - - Columbia State Community College Charger, Dustin Delgado, has signed to play with Middle Tennessee State University beginning in the fall 2013 season.
Delgado, a sophomore baseball payer at Columbia State is set to graduate in May and enters his last season as a Charger with a stellar defender record of .970 fielding (seven errors in 57 games) a .363 hit record with 33 walks in his last season at Columbia State.
A graduate of Palmetto High School in Miami, Fla., Delgado was recruited to Columbia State by head baseball coach, Mike Corn.
"We're extremely happy for Dustin," Corn said. "He is very ready to go to MTSU as a dependable defender and a solid offensive player."
MTSU Coach McGuire agreed, "Dustin is a very steady defender that we expect to come in here and play right away."
