COLUMBIA STATE HOSTS TRANSFER DAY FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

Numerous Colleges To Participate on Wednesday, March 24

Columbia State Community College will be hosting Transfer Day in the Jones Student Center on Wednesday, March 24 from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The event will feature upwards of 15 four-year Universities.

"Transfer Day gives current students additional information on what direction they may want to take after they have completed their program of study at Columbia State," said David Ogden, Director of Recruitment and Admissions at Columbia State. "It's especially a great opportunity for those who will be graduating in May as they decide on their next steps. Holding this event is one of many ways Columbia State is really trying to encourage and help students stay ahead of the game when it comes to efficiently planning their education."

Representatives from various schools including Middle Tennessee State University, Austin Peay State University, University of Memphis, The University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Lipscomb University will be present to talk to students and provide them with information. They will also be available to answer general questions on topics such as admissions and financial aid.
