ACT TEST PREP COURSES AVAILABLE IN SEPTEMBER

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Aug. 27, 2012) - - - To help your teenager prepare for the ACT, Columbia State Community College is offering a prep course that will teach your future college student how to take the required exam.

The ACT prep course class reviews math word problems, algebraic expressions and geometric concepts. Students will practice reading for comprehension and review basic grammar rules, and they'll practice timed test-taking. This 5-week class meets once a week and is designed for new test takers and test repeaters who desire to improve their scores. Students who complete a prep course are more likely to achieve higher scores.
