Pryor Art Gallery To Host Local Artists Exhibition

Columbia State Community College’s Pryor Art Gallery will feature local artists in the first exhibition of the 2024-2025 season. The exhibition will be open to the public from July 29 to September 6.

“Immerse yourself in the vibrant art of 12 local artists in this showcase of talent,” said Bethany Lay, Columbia State vice president for advancement and executive director of the Columbia State Foundation. “Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a taste of our community’s art scene.”

The Local Artists Exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will feature the work of 12 artists. Community members will have the opportunity to meet the artists on Thurs., Aug. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. at a reception, which is also free and open to the public.

The Pryor Art Gallery is in the Waymon L. Hickman Building on the Columbia Campus located at 1665 Hampshire Pike and is open Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
