Columbia State to Host Virtual Freshmen and Dual Enrollment Info Sessions
Columbia State Community College will host virtual freshmen and dual enrollment information sessions through the month of May.
“These info sessions are a great opportunity for incoming and prospective students to learn about the benefits of attending Columbia State regarding scholarships, degree pathways and transferability,” said Samuel Day, Columbia State enrollment recruiter. “Dual enrollment is also discussed in-depth and is an amazing opportunity for high school students to earn college credit before formally entering higher education.”
The information sessions are designed for high school juniors and seniors and parents/guardians interested in learning more about dual enrollment classes or attending Columbia State.
The information session will cover the Dual Enrollment grant, which provides high school students the opportunity to take up to five dual enrollment courses tuition-free. In addition, participants can learn more about Tennessee Promise, which allows graduating high school and home school seniors the opportunity to earn a degree or certificate from a community or technical college tuition-free.
The information sessions can be joined via Zoom at https://https://https://columbiastate.zoom.us/j/83749555960#success#success.
