Columbia State Announces Spring 2018 President’s and Dean’s Lists
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - May 18, 2018) - - - Columbia State Community College announces the 104 students named to the President's List and 525 students named to the Dean's List for earning academic honors this spring.
"Students who earn a spot on the President's List have excelled academically," said Dr. Janet F. Smith, Columbia State president. "They maintain an outstanding level of academic performance while managing full-time course loads, often juggling multiple responsibilities including jobs, families and extra-curricular activities. They are to be commended for their hard work and dedication."

To qualify for the president's list, students must earn 15 credit hours for the semester with a grade point average of 3.90 - 4.00.
"As a tradition in higher education, the dean's list recognizes students for high academic achievement," said Joni Lenig, interim vice president of academic affairs and associate vice president of faculty, curriculum and programs. "Students manage full schedules with life commitments, acquiring habits for success as they prepare for their careers.
