Riley Delgado Awarded ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award®

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - June 8, 2015) - - - This week, Columbia State Community College's Riley Delgado was awarded the 2015 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award® by the NJCAA in conjunction with the American Baseball Coaches Association. This prestigious award honors the top defensive baseball player from each district.

"Riley is certainly deserving of this recognition; he's such a consistent performer on a day-in and day-out basis, both in practice and in games," said Mike Corn, Columbia State head baseball coach."

"He really takes pride and puts focus into his defensive effort each and every day. We're all very proud and excited for him."

Riley Delgado is the second of Coach Corn's athletes to win the Gold Glove Award®; Wes Neiderland of Columbia State Community College was one of the 2013 recipients.
