ACCESS AND DIVERSITY DEPARTMENT HOSTS HOLIDAY MEET & GREET

Students, Faculty, and Staff Celebrate the Holiday Season

Columbia State Community College's Access and Diversity Department and the Minority Student Advisory Team hosted a "End of the Semester, Holiday Meet & Greet" on Tuesday, December 8 in the Jones Student Center.

During the event refreshments-fresh baked sugar cookies, hot cider and cold cherry ginger-ale-were served, holiday themed games were played, and door prizes awarded. The following were awarded prizes: Audra Connor (Columbia State Sweatshirt), Livia Derryberry (Columbia State Blanket), Jeffrey Dickerson (Columbia State t-shirt), Karolyn Hererra (candy and jar), John Troy (Columbia State denim shirt), and Tabitha D. Ratchford (Columbia State t-shirt).

"The meet and greet was an open invite for all constituencies at the College to fellowship together and meet the president in an informal setting. This included students, faculty and staff. The refreshments, holiday games and conversations were enjoyed by all," said Christa Martin, Assistant to the President for Access and Diversity at Columbia State.
