2006-2007 Planning Council Minutes
February 28, 2007

1. Strategic Planning Items
Paul reported the following strategic planning information:
• Dr. Hawkins will make a presentation to TBR later this spring on the status of our 2005-10 strategic plan
• The strategic planning website is being revised.
• Nancy Ramsey is working with departments to improve their assessment process.
• The revised planning manual is now available.
• The 2005-06 Institutional Effectiveness Report is available.
• We intend to accelerate the 2007-08 planning cycle so it will fold into the budget cycle.

2. Vice-President Discussions
The vice-presidents discussed key issues in the following areas that the Planning Council should address when identifying priorities and actions.

3. Next Meeting
Paul reported that: the next meeting would be Wednesday, April 11. Topics include 2007-08 actions and the 2007-08 planning cycle.
