2005-2006 Planning Council Minutes
September 23, 2005

Paul discussed the Planning Council’s major responsibilities and the 2005-06 meeting schedule.  The Planning Council’s primary work will be to review and approve the Mission Statement, review the 2004-2005 Institutional Effectiveness Report, and recommend the 2005-006 Action Plan.

1. 2004-2005 Review (Institutional Effectiveness Report)
   The Council began reviewing the 2004-05 Institutional Effectiveness Report.  Paul asked members to email him any suggested changes before the next meeting.
   
2. Mission Statement (review and approval)
   The Council reviewed and approved the Mission Statement.
   
3. 2005-2006 Actions (Action Plan)
   The Council discussed the 2005-06 Action Plan, but did not recommend any changes.  Paul asked members to continue reviewing the plan and email suggested changes.
