2005-2006 Planning Council Minutes
November 10, 2005

1. President’s Presentation.
   Dr. Hawkins discussed major issues facing Columbia State in the future.  These include the Williamson County expansion, ERP implementation, and the growing importance of private fundraising.
   
2. Vice-Presidents’ Presentation. 
   
3. Planning Teams and Assignments
   Paul assigned Planning Council members to four planning teams.  Each team is responsible for researching and reporting on progress and issues relative to a specific strategic planning goal: leadership, access, quality, and resourcefulness. 
   
4. Department Purpose Statements/Evaluations
   Paul reported that he was working to revise department purpose statements and the evaluation process this year.
   
5. Strategic Planning Website
   Paul reported that the strategic planning website was being updated to reflect activities in the current planning year.
