(COLUMBIA, Tenn. – June 9, 2014) - - -
It’s not too late to sign up for second term summer classes at Columbia State Community College. The application deadline is June 18, and classes begin July 7. Students can choose from 5-week classes that end Aug. 7 and 4-week “mini-term” classes that end Aug. 1.
Summer classes permit students to complete courses in a shorter, more compact time period, and they work well for those needing to focus on a specific area, such as math or English, without distractions from other course requirements. The July term is also available for transient students who are enrolled at another college but would like to complete a required class while they are home for the summer.
Applications are currently accepted only online, so visit www.ColumbiaState.edu/admissions to apply. There is a $10 one-time application fee for first-time applicants. For more information, visit the Columbia State website, call (931) 540-2790, or visit one of the following locations Monday – Thursday between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. to talk with someone in person.
