    Pryor Gallery to Host Watercolor Workshop by Wilkison

    By popular demand, Columbia State Community College's Pryor Gallery will beh osting a second watercolor workshop with award winning artist John Wilkison on October 17-18 from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    The cost of the workshop is $285 and is limited to 20 students. The workshop will take place in Room 114 of the Waymon L. Hickman Building, and emphasis will be on color, composition and texture.

    Pryor Gallery to Host American Watercolor Society

    Columbia State Community College welcomes the American Watercolor Society's 148th Annual International Exhibition Travel Show to the Pryor Gallery beginning July 1. The exhibit features 40 artists from around the country.

    "We are proud to host such great caliber of work in our community for everyone to enjoy," said Michele Wikinson, Pryor Gallery curator. "We hope that this art inspires professional and aspiring artists to explore the medium of watercolor."

  • Pryor Art Gallery

    Pryor Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., and on Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The gallery is also open on weekends during special events. Both the exhibit and the artist reception are free and open to the public.

Pryor Gallery

Our purpose and mission at the Pryor Gallery is to design, develop and present stimulating exhibits and programs that inspire, educate, enlighten, challenge and entertain Columbia State Community College students, faculty and staff, community members and residents of Middle Tennessee while creating a first-class artistic venue where appreciation for all forms of visual art is enhanced.

The gallery is open to the public and free of charge. All are welcome!
