Executive board applications now available!

Executive Board Qualifications:

  • Current students from ANY Columbia State campus planning to be FULL TIME in the fall may apply. Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • SGA Executive Board members take office at the end of April and serve one academic year term.
  • Must be willing to dedicate time each week to Student Government.
  • Must complete an application and schedule an in-person OR virtual interview for April 15.
  • Executive board positions are eligible to receive scholarship and other benefits.

Our new Executive Board members will be instrumental in helping to shape a NEW, multi-campus SGA for the fall!

Applications are due April 13, 2016 to Jones Student Center 144, e-mailed to SGA@ColumbiaState.edu, or faxed to 931.560.4115. You will need to sign up for an interview in JSC 144 as you turn in your applications. Interviews will be held on April 15.

 

Senator applications will be live late Summer 2016!

TWO STUDENTS from each campus (Columbia, Lawrence County, Williamson County, and Clifton) are needed to fill ten SGA senate seats. Senators will be student-elected in the fall at each campus.

SGA Senator Qualifications:

  • Must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Must be attending at least one class on the campus you'll be representing.
  • SGA Senators take office in the fall and serve until the end of the academic year.
  • Senators are student ambassadors that represent the students on their home campus to help make and shape important campus decisions.
  • Senators also co-chair student activity boards on their campuses!
  • Must be willing to dedicate time each week to Student Government.

 

Coming Soon – the SGA Charger Programming Board (CAB)

Students at every campus have the opportunity to be involved with SGA through the Charger Programming Board! CAB members will plan and carry out fun events on their campus. The CAB at each campus will be co-chaired by their campus Senators.
